In general, the Church Street drink menu will look pretty familiar — coffee, latte, mocha, cappuccino (Cal’s favorite), Americano (my favorite), plus pretty much everything else you’d expect to find at your favorite coffeehouse. But it’s summer in Alabama, and we know we’ll also need a cold, sweet, icy coffee beverage to take the edge off these sweltering summer afternoons.
I’m really excited about our recipe. Heather and Cal have put their amazing culinary and coffee-expert talents together to come up with a blended coffee drink that’s cold and delicious. We know our frappe will be available in lots of flavors (coffee, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and more … we’re even working on a coconut) — but we don’t know what to call it.
