Whipped cream and caramel on our Pumpkin Spice Apple Cider … yum!
We’re so excited about what’s coming up today: Surprise tricks and treats for a few lucky customers (you just might win a free pastry), Crestline’s Halloween Parade this afternoon, costumes on baristas (well, a few of us, anyway … Sri says he’s scary enough without a costume), Pumpkin Loaf … and, of course, our Pumpkin Spice Apple Cider topped with whipped cream and caramel!
We’re loving our haunted reads as well. We have spider and bat finger puppet books for the little ones, fun vampire and ghost picture books, and a spooky Dr. Seuss book that glows in the dark (read it under the covers with a flashlight!). For adults? We’re loving We Have Always Lived in the Castle (a quick, creepy classic that you can curl up with and finish in one night), Frankenstein and Dracula (we have both with awesome, updated cover art) … and of course this is the perfect time to embrace the vampire/werewolf craze with Twilight, A Discovery of Witches, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, or The Last Werewolf.
We’re open until 10 p.m. tonight, so be sure to stop by before Trick or Treating for some Church Street treats!
