One of our customers at Church Street came in yesterday morning and bought Mr. Pip. By that afternoon, he’d finished it and came back to discuss. He didn’t know it was being turned into a movie, so this one’s for you, Coke — wonder if you’ll enjoy this one as much as the book? It stars Hugh Laurie from television’s House, so that’s probably a good sign.
Mr. Pip premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year, and it looks like it’s scheduled for wider release in October.
