October starts tomorrow, and that means all things Halloween — including the upcoming movie release of Carrie, the remake of one of Stephen King’s creepiest stories. When a book morphs into a movie, we pay attention. Will the characters live up to our imaginations? Will everything be just as we imagined it? Probably not, but that’s not the point. The fun of seeing our favorite stories light up the silver screen is experiencing them in a different way that, hopefully, reminds us of why we loved them in the first place.
