What is CloudApp?

Sometimes when you’re having an issue with your website, the easiest way to explain the problem to your support team is by taking a screenshot. We talked more about this in a previous episode, but taking screenshots provides a visual that can be really helpful in determining the problem.

CloudApp is a useful tool for taking screenshots because it allows you to illustrate the image. You can add arrows, text, highlights or just draw freely, which comes in handy when you’re trying to point out specifics.

CloudApp also integrates with Loom and Zoom, allowing users to create brief videos. This is useful when you’re trying to perform an action and getting an error — it gives you the ability to quickly show your support team what’s going on.

Overall, CloudApp is a tool that can be a catalyst for getting your problem solved quickly. Providing a visual to your support team makes it easier for them to determine the problem and provide you with a solution — much faster than it would be without a screenshot. And with CloudApp, you don’t have to worry about attaching the screenshot from the files on your computer. The file will live on CloudApp, and all you need to do is copy and paste a link!
