Starbucks released their fall drinks yesterday, and today the calendar shifts to September — so even if autumn doesn’t technically start for three more weeks, I think it’s fair to say “cozy season” is upon us. So many local shops are releasing their own cozy and spooky season products this week, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorites.
I also thought it would be fun to do a giveaway — sign up for my email list today or tomorrow, and I’ll enter you to win two bags of the Piper & Leaf tea of your choice. (If you’re already on my list, just reply back to my most recent email, and you’ll be entered, too!)
Pumpkin and Autumn Candles from Great Bear Wax
I buy more of these at the end of the season so I’m sure to already have them in-hand on September 1. Seriously, they’re the best. I’m picky about candles because they can spell so perfume-y, but these are terrific, and they have a long burn time.
Pumpkin Moonshine and Caramel Apple Pie Tea from Piper & Leaf
I don’t know how Piper & Leaf consistently puts out such great flavors when most other flavored tea is well, sort of terrible — but they really do. These teas are great hot or iced, so they’re perfect for when you want to feel like fall but it’s still 80+ degrees outside.
Better Kombucha in Apple
I’m a fan of all kombucha in general, but this flavor is so perfect. I think there’s a little cinnamon in it, so it really feels like a pie, or maybe like a hard apple cider with out the hard part, if that makes sense. (It has more of a kick than regular cider, but it’s not alcoholic.)
Did I find all of Birmingham’s best fall products? Nope — I’m sure there are some great ones that I’m missing. But these are my favorites every year, so I wanted to share them with you. If you have other favorites, comment on my Instagram post and let me know what I missed! And if you want to win a free bag of Piper & Leaf’s fall flavors, sign up for my mailing list below. I’ll draw a winner tomorrow!
