We’re all set up for Halloween, with candy corn, pumpkins, and pom-pom garlands (made by hand by Carrie … how’d she find time for that?!). We brought in a few fun, ghoulish books like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter … but we’re really more excited to re-read the spooky classics like Dracula (we have a gorgeous Penguin Classics version of that one) and Frankenstein (the original text gets a makeover with a comic-book-inspired cover). Oh, and then there’s H.P. Lovecraft … and We Have Always Lived in the Castle … and … well, we won’t go on anymore. P.S. Jenna says candy corn pairs perfectly with Primavera’s Brazil … we can’t wait to try it!
