I’m launching new podcast! The Localist Podcast launches October 10, and to celebrate, I’m throwing a launch party at Dreamers Supply Co. Since fall is (kinda sorta) in the air, we’ll also have a little sampling of a few of my favorite fall things that Birmingham has to offer — think cookies from Greenhouse, tea in flavors like Pumpkin Moonshine and Caramel Apple Pie from Piper & Leaf, and Oktoberfest beer from Good People.
I’d really love for you to subscribe to the podcast (hit “Subscribe” in your podcast app), so subscribers will be entered for a raffle to win stuff like candles from Great Bear Wax, tea from Piper & Leaf, or a copy of the Localist book (signed, of course). And you’ll also have the opportunity to be on the podcast (only if you want to) to share why you like to shop local.
Everything will happen Thursday, October 10 starting at 6:00 p.m. and lasting until 8:00. Come check out what Dreamers Supply Co. has to offer, pick up a few cards and early holiday gifts, and toast the podcast with a cup of tea. Bring your friends. Tell your favorite entrepreneurs. And get ready for a new podcast that I really, really hope you’ll love.

Get to Dreamers Supply Co.:
Ask your phone to take you to 825 39th St S unit a, Birmingham, AL 35222.
From Zoes: From Zoe’s front door, walk up the hill that’s on your left, and you’ll see Dreamers Supply Co (in a house) on your right.
From Shoppe: Cross the street, then walk to your left until you get to the light. At the light, walk up the hill and Dreamers Supply will be on your right.
From Rougaroux: If you’re in the parking lot facing the Rougaroux door (not the Whistling Table parking lot; it’s on the other side of the building), Dreamers is directly on your right.
