This week on the Localist, Carrie is wrapping up season one and giving listeners a teaser of what to expect in season two. Carrie shares the origin story of the podcast, her hesitation about continuing during quarantine, and why she ultimately decided to persevere and continue sharing the stories of local businesses. Nearly everything has changed due to the pandemic, and The Localist is not immune to that. Carrie describes how the podcast shifted as a result, and how valuable it is to reflect on what you’ve accomplished as well as your goals. Carrie shares some interesting details she learned from interviewing listeners and how that information will shape the format of the podcast moving forward. Carrie wraps up with a few resources for entrepreneurs (or the entrepreneurial!), and shares The Localist’s brand script.
